Many of us have a ritual knife but where did it originate? Why has the athame come to be known as the “true witch’s weapon?” Come take a trip through history as we trace the history of the athame across the centuries and into the present. In addition to the athame we’ll also be looking at the boline and the “white handled knife,” two very different blades. Learn how to better use your athame and why it has become essential in so many Witchcraft traditions. Jason Mankey is the author of "The Witch’s Athame" the first book written entirely about athames and other pointy things.
